Project22 (Dubai Exhibition)

In this artwork, a poignant story unfolds, centering around a single mother and her 22 children.

The number 22 transcends its mere numeric value, weaving itself into the very essence of the mother's role.

Upon closer examination, we observe that all 22 smaller figures are intricately connected to the central figure – the mother. These connections are not just physical; they are imbued with deep emotions of affection, reliance, and guidance. The mother stands as a guardian angel, a role symbolically underscored by the number 22, often associated with the bond between a person and their guardian angel.






The artwork transcends into a realm of personal significance. The figures, with their unique, almost otherworldly appearance, forge a direct link to my own identity and the relationship I share with my mother – my personal guardian angel. It's in this convergence of the fantastical and the deeply personal that the artwork speaks its most profound truth, revealing the unbreakable bond and the ethereal guidance of a mother's love.
