Dakoi
I
remember that one party where I saw DJ Dakoi for the first time - she captivated me at first glance. I wanted to have her gaze, which would dominate anyone who had the courage to look at her.
I wanted to have her self-confidence, who made the energy of the party change at her will. I wanted to be her: a free powerful queer woman behind the mixing table.
This project consisted of creating the lettering and the digital avatar of Dakoi plus VJ motion visuals for the DJ's performances, where I would be on stage doing my own VJ set, thus making the shows more engaging.
